| A-320 Aircraft Simulator |
| A company had been awarded a contract from a large airline to update the A-320 instrument flight rules simulator from an old RTOS that was no longer supported. The airline wanted to add more failures to the training repertoire, a different user interface for the FAA trainer, and other items. Although they had the equipment, there was no documentation, and no engineers available to help. TSI was able to send engineers on site to take over the project and within a short time, we had the majority of the instrumentation up and running with the new software, the radios working, and all of the fire alarms, wind sheer warnings, etc. functional. Unfortunately, a business decision was made by the airline to change direction prior to the completion of the system. But at that time the sole remaining item was to integrate the new training plans with the existing instrumentation modules and let the system fly. |
